Teamlead IT Service Desk (m/f/d)


Together with our partner, EGON OLDENDORFF Management GmbH, we are looking for a Teamlead Service Desk (m/f/d) for our location in Lübeck or Hamburg.

EGON OLDENDORFF is the world market leader in the transport of bulk goods, with an impressive fleet of over 500 owned vessels and 4500 employees worldwide. The company is now on an exciting journey to modernize and realign its technical department to become even more innovative and flexible.

Your tasks

  • You will be responsible for leading, continuously developing and building a team of at least 12 employees at different locations
  • You will ensure the further development of the cloud-based IT service management solution for more than 1000 users worldwide as part of an Egon Oldendorff project
  • You are largely responsible for utilizing the potential of the Freshservice solution and lead the implementation of new modules such as lifecycle management, IT asset management and AI-supported service management
  • You act as a contact person for complex IT problems and provide technical support and assistance to ensure a high quality of IT service management
  • You work closely with other departments in the company and look forward to expanding your network internationally

Your profile

  • You have several years of experience in leading IT teams and can coach and motivate them effectively
  • You have extensive technical knowledge and experience in IT support and customer care, including experience with common operating systems, network and hardware systems, databases and IT service management tools
  • You have solid knowledge of ITIL methodology and processes to continuously improve the service quality and efficiency of the IT support team
  • You have excellent communication skills and can effectively communicate your expertise to other team members and departments in the organization
