Content Marketing Manager (m/w/d)

 

Slowness is a collective of People, Places and Projects that reframe the way we live, work and interact. Drawing insights from regenerative agriculture, adaptive reuse and the slow movement, we are currently developing places around the world that offer a deeper, more conscious and collaborative form of hospitality.

The places include our Berlin flagship campus Flussbad on the Spree riverside, where we recently opened the semi-subterranean performance space- Reethaus, inspired by ancient temples. We are currently in different stages of developing several other places, including a countryside retreat in the Uckermark region, a health-centered Hotel at lake Tegernsee, such as a hotel, a beach restaurant and a farm in Portugal.

With the further development and growth of the Slow Places, content will play a crucial role in positioning and brand awareness. We are looking for a talented Content Marketing Manager to join our team. They will be responsible for strategically overseeing and executing content initiatives across our various platforms, fostering community engagement, managing creative collaborations, and leveraging data insights to drive brand growth and awareness in alignment with the Slowness vision.

Tasks

  • Manage content across all brand channels, including the website, social media, newsletter, and presentations.
  • Co-develop and implement a comprehensive content marketing strategy to drive brand awareness, engagement, and conversation, such as leading generation and membership sign-ups.
  • Craft comprehensive briefings for the creative team, utilizing data and insights to guide the development of visual and written content, ensuring that all materials align with campaign objectives and brand identity.
  • Develop and execute our monthly to weekly content planning calendar.
  • Support brand collaborations, working closely with our brand director.
  • Research and understand audience pain points, translating them into actionable, insightful content.
  • Keep abreast of content marketing trends, especially within the hospitality industry to ensure our content is relevant and impactful.
  • Help maintain the inventory of content assets, ensuring all content is up-to-date and on-brand.
  • Oversee and manage freelancers, and agency partners.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Content Marketing Manager or in a similar role.
  • Demonstrated creative and organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in WordPress, Figma, and Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Passion for content creation, copy editing, and familiarity with the creative community.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills in English.
  • Experience within the hospitality or culture field would also be highly valued.
  • Passion for food, culture, design, and travel.
